Winner announced for The Diabetes Exchange – South Korea 2026
Spirit Health has announced Dr Kevin Fernando, Portfolio GP at NHS Lothian, as the winner of a place on The Diabetes Exchange – South Korea.
Kevin was selected from an exceptionally competitive field of applicants, with the judging panel praising the outstanding quality of entries received from healthcare professionals across the UK.
The Diabetes Exchange is an international summit that brings together leading UK diabetes clinicians with experts from around the world to share real-world best practice, challenge clinical boundaries and explore the latest advances in diabetes care.
From November 2-5, this year's exchange is being delivered in partnership with i-SENS, giving delegates the opportunity to collaborate with South Korean clinicians, researchers and diabetes technology experts.

During the visit, Kevin will take part in a programme of knowledge exchange with leading South Korean clinicians, researchers and diabetes technology experts, including exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the i-SENS continuous glucose monitoring manufacturing facility.

Spirit Health plans to continue The Diabetes Exchange as an ongoing international initiative, creating opportunities to share knowledge, showcase UK best practice and build lasting collaborations with diabetes experts around the world.
