Registrations are now open for the 2026 Obesity & Weight Management Alliance Conferences – returning for a third consecutive year with an expanded format to meet growing demand from UK healthcare professionals.

For the first time, the conference will take place across three UK locations, increasing accessibility for healthcare professionals nationwide.

Free to attend the events will be held on:

  • Thursday 12 March – London Suite, Mercure London Earls Court, London

  • Wednesday 18 March – The Midland Hotel, Manchester

  • Friday 27 March – The National Conference Centre, Birmingham

The Obesity & Weight Management Alliance Conferences bring together leading voices in obesity care – including clinicians, researchers and policymakers – to share insights and practical solutions that improve individual outcomes. Delegates will gain access to the latest evidence-based education on key topics including remission in type 2 diabetes, obesity in primary care, emerging research and lifestyle interventions.

All sessions are CPD-accredited to support continued professional development and strengthen best practice across the health system.

Chaired by Professor Melanie Davies CBE, an internationally recognised expert in diabetes and weight management, each event will feature a line-up of renowned speakers including Professor Alex Miras, Dr Dimitris Papamargaritis and Dr Louise Herring. Together, they will explore innovative clinical approaches and the future direction of obesity management in the UK.

Emily Mayhew, Event Manager for the Alliance, said: “We are pleased to be expanding the conference this year to ensure more healthcare professionals can access high-quality education wherever they are in the country.

“The growing momentum behind this event reflects the shared commitment across the NHS and wider health community to improving obesity care and supporting people to live healthier lives.”
