Tamsin Fletcher-Salt

Tamsin qualified as a nurse in 2009 and became a DSN in 2014. Prior to this is worked as a critical care nurse for 5 years in a trauma centre. She is currently the lead diabetes and endocrinology nurse for the University Hospital of North Midlands.

Tamsin is a non medical prescriber and completed her MSc in diabetes from Kings College, London in January 2023.

Tamsin regularly contributes to advisory groups for NHSE on technology and HCL rolloutand she is also an honorary lecturer at Keele University.

Tamsin has recently been appointed as the Clinical Inpatient Diabetes Lead NHS Midlands Network

She joined the DSN Forum management team in March 2020.

Tamsin was a finalist in the QiC Diabetes awards 2020 and won two QiC awards in 2021 for her work within the Diabetes 101 twitter team.
