The Obesity & Weight Management Alliance anticipate that they will receive sponsorship from pharmaceutical companies and MedTech organisations for the 2027 conferences. As soon as sponsorship is confirmed, the details will be added to the website and all promotional materials where appropriate.
The Obesity & Weight Management Alliance is expanding its 2027 conference programme, with free educational events taking place across the UK and Ireland. The programme will include a new conference in Glasgow, a return to Dublin and a new event in Limerick.
Registrations are now open for the conferences, as the popular series returns for a fourth consecutive year, building on its success and expanding to reach even more healthcare professionals.
Following the success of the multi-location programme in 2026, the alliance will once again visit Manchester, London and Birmingham, with Glasgow joining the UK programme for the first time.
In Ireland, the programme will return to Dublin and expand to Limerick, offering healthcare professionals further opportunities to access free, high-quality education and CPD.
The 2027 conferences can be booked using the links below:
· Friday 5 March – Manchester
Wednesday 17 March – London
Thursday 18 March – Birmingham
Saturday 10 April – Limerick
Saturday 1 May – Dublin
Thursday 6 May – Glasgow
Each event will feature a programme of CPD-accredited sessions, supporting healthcare professionals in their continuing professional development and helping to promote best practice across obesity and weight management services. A programme of expert speakers will explore the latest developments in obesity care, innovative clinical approaches and the future direction of weight management in the UK.
Emily Mayhew, Event Manager for the Obesity & Weight Management Alliance, said: “We are delighted to be returning for a fourth year and to be expanding the conference series. The response to our multi-location programme has been fantastic, reflecting the growing demand for accessible, high-quality education in obesity and weight management.”
